This gets rid of Ubisoft's annoying "must be online at all times" DRM. This will help anyone who's having problems playing the game thanks to Ubi's not so great servers.
1. Install the game from the DVD.
2. Download and install the 1.04 patch:

3. Download the fix:

4. Go to the game's install directory (usually C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction\src\system)and copy everything from the zip into there. If anything asks to replace things click "yes" or "ok".
5. Now edit the Skidrow.ini, so that your username and password are there.
The game should now run without a worry of being kicked from your single player game.

Anon, is this a problem you're having while installing the patch?
If it is try uninstalling the game and the ubisoft launcher, then reinstall the game and try the patch again. Sometimes that helps.
Are there additional maps to play in single player?Thank You.
i installed the patch and my game save file went away. how do i get that back? i also read something about the game saves saving on to Ubisofts servers, so woulnd't that mean that everytime i play and exit, ill be restarting the game?

i did all as u said but it still not working..need to go online otherwise this game will be stuck on loading the game..BUT this game absolutelt working when i conected any internet or network connection on just enable the LAN (active)..but idont want this..i already know to do like this earlier..what i want to play this game completely without any network connection..so i said it is not workiing for me
